Aluminium is a relatively soft, durable, lightweight, ductile and malleable metal with appearance ranging from silvery to dull gray, depending on the surface roughness. Aluminium has about one-third the density and stiffness of steel. It is easily machined, cast, drawn and extruded. Aluminium is the most abundant metal in the earth’s crust.
Aluminium is comparatively cheap and easy to recycle and more and more countries across the world are putting systems in place to get scrap aluminium from homes to recycling plants. Many of the aluminium radiators on the market today are manufactured from recycled aluminium.
